About Us

Jere Whitson Elementary School serves students in grades PreK-4th grade in Putnam County. Our commitment as a community of educators and leaders is to ENGAGE and INSPIRE ALL STUDENTS to ACHIEVE academic success while building a strong foundation of social and emotional well-being that will influence good choices and right actions. Our school vision is focused on ensuring all graduates will be future-ready—motivated to excel throughout a lifetime of learning, serving, creating, and innovating, fully equipped with a strong work ethic and commitment to family and community.
